Business Social Media

I've been scouring the book stores on Web 2.0 literature and came across Jeffrey Gitomer's book Social Boom. This is a must read for those of us intending to make the most of Social Networking. Gitomer refers to the process as Business Social Media and says that LinkedIn and Facebook are the new cold call. I find his book very useful in bringing out the necessary steps to take to make social media work and I'm excited to get up and running as soon as possible. While I'm not as nibble as many of you in this tech environment, I think I have something to give from the experiences of my life and the beliefs I've developed over the years, so let's all enjoy the conversation and get down to business - the business of social media.
